CLASS DESCRIPTIONS
EQ Athlete - Equilibrium's signature series
of classes
Bootcamp - Circuit style class with an emphasis on
total body conditioning through cardio drills and
bodyweight strength training. Participants at any
fitness level can maximize the benefits of this class
through personal modifications.
Reaction - A reactive circuit training class that
uses various drills to test ones strength,
coordination, and cardiovascular system. Class
participants work as a team to meet goals and motivate
each other to achieve results.
Ashtanga Yoga - Physically demanding style
offers a fast-paced series of sequential poses to
build strength, flexibility and stamina by moving from
one posture to the next in a continual flow and
linking movements to breath.
Power Yoga - Physically demanding style,
similar to Ashtanga, offers fast-paced series of
sequential poses by moving from one posture to the
next in a continual flow and linking movement to
breath.
Hatha Yoga - The yoga of physical
wellbeing, designed to balance the mind, body and
spirit by developing control of the body through
asanas or poses.
Vinyasa Yoga - Steady flow of connected
yoga postures work in continuous movement with your
breath, guided by the rhythm of inhalations and
exhalations.
Spin - A high-intensity low-impact cardio
workout designed for a motivating group environment
with upbeat music, exciting rides and qualified
instructors. Find out why spin has become one of the
most popular group classes in the world!
Body Definition - A total body strength
training class with no rhythm necessary. Use a variety
of equipment combined with compound movements to
achieve muscular fatigue while keeping your heart rate
high. Continued participation will yield a leaner,
stronger and more toned body.
Pilates - This method, developed more than
70 years ago by Joseph Pilates, focuses on awareness
of the spine, proper breathing, core strength and
flexibility through continuous movements designed to
improve posture and increase muscular endurance. The
method involves concentration and the coordination of
breath and movement, thereby helping to balance mind
and body.
Fitboxe - A fun and involving high-impact
workout combining aerobics, martial arts and
self-defense. Fitboxe provides a positive way for you
to release the aggression that builds up in daily
life. Get in shape while learning how to defend
yourself at the same time!
Stability & Strength - A total body
strength training class focusing on developing core
strength and balance through stability training. Use
body weight and a variety of equipment, including the
Stability Ball, to develop a balanced and toned
physique.
Kickboxing - Similar to Fitboxe, Kickboxing
is a high-impact workout using boxing gloves to
increase resistance for upper-body training. You will
make contact with a heavy bag and instructor mitts to

while still releasing aggression!

TESTIMONIALS
"When I heard that the best trainer at my old club was joining a new adventure, I wondered if I I would follow him there. I wasn't unhappy with where I was, but then I experienced Equilibrium. The place is beautiful, and the staff uniformly positive, upbeat, and talented. The look is clean and pretty hip, but the community is not intimidating. In no time at all, they knew which was my favorite locker and which delicious shake to have waiting for me after each workout. I am definitely in better shape now then I was. I have lost fat and gained muscle, and I am happy to endorse Equilibrium enthusiastically to my friends."
